Quarter
Horse race
The Quarter Horse is a horse of origin,
derived from crosses between various
thoroughbred Arab horses arrived with the
Spanish galleons first to the new world and
the mustang, the mythical horses originating
in American territory.
The name of this race comes from people who
believed that the travel faster in the
quarter-mile, although in reality the
fastest horses in this specialty are the
thoroughbreds. |

Quarter Horse, which aims to follow the
American Quarter Horse Association, founded
in 1940 in Forth Worth in Texas. It
was formed in order to collect, preserve and
record the American Quarter Horses; for a
